Candidate Statement:

To increase student well-being and engagement at UNSA, I would be developing a comprehensive strategy that addresses various aspects of student life. First and foremost, we need to prioritize mental health by providing accessible mental health resources, counseling services, and workshops that address the emotional issues they can students face.

To foster a sense of community and belonging, I suggest promoting clubs, events, and peer support networks that allow students to connect and share their experiences. It is essential to create inclusive spaces that celebrate diversity and ensure an environment where all students feel respected and valued.

Communication plays a key role in engagement, so maintaining regular updates on UNSA services, events and academic affairs is essential to keeping students informed and engaged. Last but not least, we should focus on preparing students for their future careers by organizing career development workshops and networking events. This not only improves their overall well-being, but also prepares them for successful post-graduate pursuits.
