Are you ready to Represent?

Want to be the voice for students at the University of Newcastle? UNSA's Student Representative Council (SRC) is the university's peak representative body for students. Until Thursday 10 August 5pm, you can nominate for a wide range of leadership roles where you'll have the opportunity to make real change and enhance the experience for all students at the University of Newcastle. Plus, you'll gain valuable (and highly employable) skills in leadership, governance, project management, advocacy, communication, collaboration, strategic planning, event coordination, and working for a non-profit organisation. (You'll also have a lot of fun!)

Key Election Dates

Candidate Information Sessions

In order for your nomination to be valid, you must attend one Candidate Information Session before the close of nominations. There are five available time slots that are held via Zoom. During the session you attend, you will meet the Deputy Returning Officer for the election, learn more about the SRC and student representation, be briefed on the rules and processes for the election/ campaigning and have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
