Why this role?

I am committed to representing the international student community and will devote myself to improving their engagement and experience.

My Experience

I have experience in the role of International Students’ Senate Convenor and have worked according to the interests of international students. I am aware of the questions that an international student can have by working at AskUON. I have developed my knowledge to solve their issues and work towards the betterment of UON’s international student community.

I have gained experience in planning events for the international students through planning and managing events for UNSA.

Through my work as a member of iLEAD, I have improved my ability to mentor students and help them maintain a healthy work-life balance.

If I am re-elected, I will use the experience and connections gained during my time in this role to present the views of international students to higher authorities within the university.

What do you hope to achieve for UON Students?

Collaborate with wellbeing advisors and Campus Care to work on the welfare and wellbeing of international students.

I will be dedicated to help international students get part time jobs and increase the opportunity for international students to engage within the community.
